Yep they do!
No, but one of the best sushi in town, and cheap
I always end up coming back here for sushi when I need a reliable place for it. I love their salmon rolls.
Quality sushi for a great price. I had the B combo and was pleased at the value. I'd highly reccomend this location.
Great selection of bento boxes for lunch. Takeout was quick and easy and about what you’d expect to pay. There’s a large covered patio for when the weather is nice, and a small seating area indoors. Lapoint restaurant is downstairs
The Tropical roll blew me away. An explosion of tastes. Very nice.
Amazing sushi and very accommodating to allergies. Sushi all had a generous amount of fish and it all tasted so fresh. Best sushi I've had in Ottawa in a long time, it reminded me of Vancouver's sushi!
Fish was extremely fresh. Prices and portions reasonable.
we came from BC looking for a quiet place to have a dinner that wasn't going to empty our wallet. this was the perfect place. it was small but empty when we first got there. food was very fresh and served quickly. the salmon combo was excellent and we can't wait to come back on our next visit!
Though the restaurant is obscure as it shares the place with Lapointe Fish, I can definitely say it's among the best sushi restaurants I've had in a while, if not the best in Ottawa. We were a part of twelve, half of it were kids, when we went to Sushi Fresh. They were very courteous and accommodating, making sure they arranged everything as we wanted it to be. Food came out quick, well presented, and delectable. I say it's really good. I would definitely come back for more.
Yum. Great rice to fish ratio. Prices more than acceptable. Also, they do not slather all rolls in ungodly amounts of mayo. What a blessing.
I like sushi here. Also there is an opportunity to have table downstairs, where it's nice and cozy. Really happy with service, thanks to Rebecca.
Delicious and well-priced every time.
Fantastic fresh fresh sushi. Will definitely return, and a new date spot
Stopped in for a snack. Service and flavor was great but again, only sampled one roll.
The sushi was very tasty and the service was quick. Worth a visit!
We are Vegan and we loved the Food we had 👌 at this place !!! Will be coming back 😉 THANK YOU FOR AMAZING MOTHERS DAT 💚🌷💚🌱💚
This place has the best sushi I’ve had in Ottawa, very impressed. Very generous portions of salmon and fish in the rolls and you can tell that everything is made with passion.
Excellent sushi, excellent staff.
The names says it all. The rice is amazing. Probably the best sushi in the land locked city
Excellent fresh sushi. Way better than Kinki and less expensive.
Amazing rolls! Even simple avoxado rolls were amazing. Sashimi was fresh, service was perfect. I do recommend this place.
One of the best sushi joints in Ottawa. Small and easily over-looked. The fish is so fresh and the portions are generous. I love getting their sashimi boats to share with a friend.
Sushi was wonderful and staff were very friendly!BEST SPICY SALMON ROLL I'VE EVER HAD!
Super cute sushi restaurant, very fresh and delicious. Waitresses friendly and accommodating. Will definitely go back again.
OK sushi for the price, OK ambience, pretty slow service. Don't think I'll be coming back. Wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing.
I am a huge sushi-fan. Stayed over a month in Ottawa. Sushi Fresh been the outmost best venue to enjoy great sushi/sashimi. Great variety on menu overall.Prompt and friendly service 👍🏼P.S.: Yummi Udon and Ramen soups as well as huge business lunch menu.
Sashimi is fresh and reasonably priced, lunch bento is good portion and variety. Would recommend when visiting bytown market
Fresh sushi with quick service. Ordered udon noodles and spicy salmon sushi set. Convenient location in byward market.
Raw fish is fresh, and they aren't stingy with it - I have never seen rolls with so much salmon and so little rice. Came in for dinner on a Sunday to a fairly empty restaurant. I had the chirashi sushi bowl, sashimi:rice ratio was a little sad but their rice is well flavored. The avocado accompanying it seemed a little pathetic, with three slices no bigger than my index finger in total.... but the freshness of the fish is what I came for and it is what I got! Bonus also for having some serious wasabi. Price is a liiiittle bit higher than your standard eat-in sushi (~$17), but the environment was nice and this *is* the Byward Market! Otherwise service was good and fast. I also thought it was a bit odd they didn't serve the sushi on the patio, not sure why. Will definitely come back for the freshness!
Nice place. Sushi and other fish recipes for different tastes. Beer on the salon downstairs.
Extensive variety of sushi. Great taste and quick service at reasonable price.
I placed an order, then realized I forgot to add one item. The service I received was outstanding, just like the sushi. 10/10. I will definitely order from here in the future...
have always loved this place. Through the years it has remained consistent, fresh and tasty! Will always come here when in Ottawa
Amazing food. Wish it could accommodate more people upstairs.
Great sushi, fair prices, quick and pleasant service
Ordered off Uber Eats, $60 dollars worth of sushi. They forgot to include soy sauce. Mistakes happen, but their response was to include a free spicy mayo on my next order. Poor customer service.
I really enjoyed this little treasure! It's a tiny place that you probably wouldn't notice walking by, but it's worth venturing into. I had the dolsat bibimbap which was really good but I thought it may have been slightly overpriced (probably due to it's location) which is why I'm only giving it a 4/5. The service was good & the menu was extensive. I want to try the sushi next time I go. Overall, not rushing to go back but definitely will be returning in the future.
Fresh and well-priced; portion is on the small side.
Fresh sashimi and friendly staff! One of the better japanese restaurant in Byward Market. Price is decent. Highly recommended!
It's a small and cozy placed. The food is certainly very good and the portions surprisingly large. I recommend it to anyone who loves sushi.
I ordered a few rolls based on the decent google reviews. This place is not good. Those who gave it above 3 stars have no idea what good, or even mediocre, sushi is. Do not waste your time or money on this place.
Sushi Fresh is an amazing spot for very fresh fish and other great Japanese and Korean foods for a fair price. I would recommend the salmon, mackerel and tuna sashimis, gyoza, wakame salad, California rolls and the sushi rice which were all very flavorful and had their own unique textures. I ordered the Sashimi Bento box and miso soup online and picked it up in store for take out which was really easy and convinient. The wakame salad had an amazing seasame and garlic flavor, both the the shrimp tempura and gyoza were perfectly crispy and seasoned very nicely. The sushi rice had a great sticky and plumpness to it and an incredible flavor that makes it stand out from any other. The California rolls were great and the fish roe had a nice crunch to it. The sashimi were all very fresh and very soft and nicely colored. The salmon and mackerel were the two most flavorful and enjoyable options followed by the tuna. Even the pickled ginger seemed better than average!
Delicious food, very friendly service, and pretty interior :) Good place.
Love this sushi place, fish is always fresh, service is good. Gets busy and space is small so you may have to wait for a table.
Tied with 'c'est japon a suisha' for the best sushi you can get in Ottawa. This is the place where I first fell in love with raw fish.
Overall the meal wasn't that bad. The selection was a little lacking, and there was no option for sashimi. The food was well presented, and had a very fresh taste. The amount wakame you get in an order is really small though. Same thing with the tempura shrimp. They are very small shrimp. Not worth the price for appetizers or salads. The rolls were fairly decent. Was not overly fond of the Philly roll. The smoked salmon was cheap and overly smokey. Otherwise though, the rest of the fish and food was delicious.
This place is amazing!! I walked in 15 minutes till close and ordered food to go - blown away by the quality and taste. Can you please move to London, Ontario so I can eat your sushi all the time? :) Great job!
Order from here often. Fish is very fresh and the portions are perfect. The one time they got my order wrong I was given the correct sushi for free along with some bonus rolls. Best price/quality/service combination of sushi in Ottawa. Keep it up!
A cozy, unassuming little sushi shop. Their fish was better than I would have expected for the low price. I had a good meal here. Shame they were out of uni that evening.
Shares the same location as Lapointe Fish restaurant. Lapointe gets priority seating though, as we were not allowed to sit on the terrace when eating sushi only. The seats in the basement were quite comfortable and fresh, on a warm summer night, so we did not mind. Customer service was excellent and so were the sushi. I recommend. I would have given 5 stars had we been allowed to sit where we wanted.
